Definitely time has come when AMD should do something to beat Intel otherwise the name of AMD will vanish from the list of chip maker. the competition in the arena of chip marketing is very harsh and to sustain in this arena company will have to pump a huge amount of money and effort in the search and development and this is what AMD need to do now!

Competition is good for consumers as long as these BIG companies innovate and manufacture high quality products.

Intel always seems to be ahead of the AMD, these figures also show this thing.
