If you read the article, you will notice it comes straight from the horses mouth What we knew was basically guesstimates/hope from tech journos.
BTW The article was posted just an hour ago on that site as I type this.

One thing that should happen is that the Moto phones should use Stock Android and get quick updates.

Motorola will work independently. so at least expecting faster release of updates but dumping the bloatware UI named Blur. impossible.

If you take a look at stock ICS UI, its really impressive and no company now needs to put an overlay UI to make it look attractive.
