With a bit of mathematical finagling and a touch of guess work, it can be reasonably assumed that Facebook was able to double both income and net income in that time.

Well, this news is not surprising at all, to me. More & more people joining Facebook, hence, increasing their profit. But this also means that the famous and hyped google+ project is a fail despite their invitation policy.

I think some people have missed the point in the above comment 'mathematical finagling' means creative accounting
