Tut tut. I don't see how aggressive marketing is so 'evil'. Apple makes good products. People are willing to pay a hefty premium, that is not Apple's fault. If Apple is so evil, let people stop buying Apple products.

The LG optimus 2X and the Samsung Galaxy SII beat the Iphone 4 at lower price.

and because the products are damn simple (read, crippled funcionality) to use, even your average village idiot can use it in a minute.

also, apple beleives in not giving the full worth of the consumer's price in one go. so they release intentionally broken products, and create a totally hyped sales pitch.

after everyone has got their product, they then add a few functionalities(which are EXTREMELY basic and fundamental, like a radio or usb port) to the same shitty product and market it as a totally "NEW" "IMPROVED" device.

and the poor guy who spent all his life's savings on ipoop so that he could finally join the "hip" crowd (read: emotionally disturbed and suffering from a distorted view of reality) finds that he cannot afford the ipoop 2 with the "new and improved" rechargable battery (ipoop 1's battery had to be removed and disposed off after one charge with the same procedure as radioactive waste) and an actual gui.

see? this is why apple is bad. you can find any number of more functional and cheaper products, like android phones, cowon/philips/iriver PMP's etc, but because of hype and mis information, apple will always have a few takers, and thats because people are STUPID, and they dont know whats good for them.

The world is an expert at making idiots.

So no matter how many engineers we have, the quality and quantity of idiots will always outnumber the idiot-proofness of any device.

Apple has realized this and so it removes all the features, making it "idiot-proof" in the process. Lesser the number of features, lesser the number of idiots to deal with.
The idiots see that it is "hassle-proof" so they tell their idiot friends how "cool" it is. Apple takes advantage and rips them off with the overpricing. They dump old stock in india and charge an even heftier premium over it.

This is so depressing. Recently, there were news about some Chinese guy selling his kidney for iPhone and some girl announcing to sell her 'virginity' for new iPad.

I'm confused who's to blame here, Stupid sheep mentality people or 'evil wolves' that hunts them down.
