Default Sandia intros revolutionary heatsink with rotating fins

Sandia National Laboratories has announced a new cooling technology named "Sandia Cooler" or the "Air Bearing Heat Exchanger", which relies on rotating fins to dispel heat and promises to cool computer and electronic appliances without the need of a fan. So what are the benefits:-

1. Improved cooling (it has to be)
2. Smaller footprint
3. No dust clogging
4. More energy efficient
5. Lesser noise

Quote:
"In a conventional CPU cooler, the heat transfer bottleneck is the boundary layer of 'dead air' that clings to the cooling fins. With the Sandia Cooler, heat is efficiently transferred across a narrow air gap from a stationary base to a rotating structure. The normally stagnant boundary layer of air enveloping the cooling fins is subjected to a powerful centrifugal pumping effect, causing the boundary layer thickness to be reduced to ten times thinner than normal," the firm explains.

Just imagine how a blue LED would look on the rotating fins.

I think we need a rotating mother boards and socket idea too

I need this technology the most!!
Since I am still using Pen 4!!!

Btw, will this tech, would avoid the need of a cool (aka, AC) place to operate computers?
