Nvidia to launch kepler gpu's in 2011 as the successor to fermi.

Yes guys you heard that right. Nvidia will bring its nextgen gpu's this year based on a 28nm fab. Early reports suggest that they will be 2.5 times faster than fermi. It will be based on a completely different architecture.

Old but pretty interesting. Nvidia is going to outdo themselves. Still no competitor for the mighty gf 100 based Gtx 580. It was initially scheduled for 2012 i guess but now announced for 2011.

most likely it was nothing bt nVidia's Shock and Awe strategy to keep their investors glued
