Aircel has reportedly said that it will be Launching 3G services in India in the next 40-60 days
Aircel Chief Technology Officer Mallikarjuna Rao said.
"We are planning to launch the service in all the 13 circles we won"
"We will go for a pan-India footprint. It will be give and take because nobody has the pan-India licence and everybody will go for a pan-India service. We will use the intra-circle roaming system"
The commerical launch happened yesterday but the plan rates are utterly disappointing:
Rs. 9 for 10 MB, validity 1 day
Rs. 60 for 65 MB, validity 3 days
Rs. 103 for 100 MB, validity 30 days
Rs. 200 for 250 MB, validity 30 days
Rs. 450 for 600 MB, validity 30 days
Rs. 750 for 2 GB, validity 30 days
