Sony Ericsson has Announced a new smartphone to its Xperia series, Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc runs on Android Gingerbread i.e android's latest version currently available, and has a 1 Ghz of processor

Further it has a 4.2 capacitive Touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera and Edge, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wifi, GPS and Bluetooth for connectivity

Rumours suggest that, sony ericsson is planning on Launching Xperia Arc in India somewhere in March-April !

I'm pretty sure that the phone would be stuck on Gingerbread for its entire lifetime.

chances are it'll. Sony will announce that Honeycomb update will be released for Arc but later will only release an announcement apologizing & saying Arc won't get any update. but still, lets not count sony out. it may release, in 2012.

but lets see this time how big a loss the buyers of Xperia gets. custom roms are everywhere & most likes them but few uses them cause of fear of bricking their mobiles. most still wait for official release.
