Google launches Chrome OS for netbooks

Google is always known for its innovative technologies, and this time, we come across Google’s OS for netbooks, i.e. Google Chrome OS. The Chrome OS is totally based on cloud computing. There is no requirement for hard drive, no additional application installation required; the only thing required is a UI.

I saw the release on BBC and when will it arrive in India (netbook)?

They hvnt specified the release date. But it will be out soon.

Currently it is only in testing stage & available to testers (as free netbooks!) in the USA.

I don't know why you people saying "netbook" when the chrome OS homepage clearly says "notebook"..
