Thumbs up Re: WD TV Live Hub to enter India by month end

Hi,

I have checked up on Lamington Road, Mumbai & the WD TV Live Hub has very well launched but not available at the advertised price of Rs.9990/-. Dealers are selling it at much higher prices close to Rs.12000/- and above stating that the distributors have launched at MRP Rs.16999/-. Is this even possible?

WD advertises & plans a launch of a really good product and they put their hands up when questioned that distributors control pricing?

Please guide us where is the best place to buy this product at the correct price?

There are a lot of people around India that have the same query, listed on this site Techtree.com India > Reviews > Basics > Specials > WD TV Live Hub

I would like to unite & help as much to bring people interested in buying this product to get back to the co. and help get the correct price for all.

#1. Its a press release. Not news. News and press release are 2 different stuff. The Indian "tech" media seriously need to wake up big time. You guys ain't the only ones putting it up (some even go about and recycling the article ). I am sure during copy-pasting, one can do the basics, especially saying that WD quotes this price as "Rs. xxxxx".
