Microsoft has released full version of Windows Live Essentials 2011 for Windows 7 and Windows Vista. There is also a lighter version available for Windows XP.
Live Essentials for Windows 7 and Vista has Windows Live Movie Maker, Mail, Messenger, Writer, Mesh (formerly known as Sync), Family Safety, Photo Gallery, Messenger Companion, Bing Bar, Outlook Connector Pack and Silverlight. All applications now use the new ribbon UI and integrate further into Windows 7 by using Jumplists.
There is also a Windows XP version of Essentials available but with lighter features. It has Messenger, Photo Gallery, Mail and Writer. Windows Live Movie Maker and the slide show feature of Photo Gallery isn't available on this version.
