Facebook has changed the events page

Facebook has redesigned the event's page it looks more like a profile page now.
I found it useful for creating an event like LAN Gaming in hostels and Watching movies. It can be useful .... try it out...

Facebook events have a lot of fixing. I think that in some ways Facebook's goal to open up content and make it much easier to create content is adding to the noise. Facebook events are a big part of that, and as a result people get spammed with invites to events that they could never attend. A lot of this is at the control of users, but perhaps there needs to be some rethinking of the way events function on the platform now and users need to get out of the desperate habit of inviting all of their friends to an event, even if they are across state-lines.
