Exclamation Apple ad bombing Windows 7 on Google

If there is one thing you can say for the Apple marketing department it is that they love nothing better than taking subtle swipes at Microsoft. While their television and web ads have been doing this for some time much to the glee and satisfaction of Apple fans around the world it seems that they are adding another area to their arsenal.

Alex Wilhelm over at The Next Web points out that Apple has begun taking out Google AdWords that are centered around Windows 7. The ads are showing up in searches for `download windows 7`and `windows 7 download`as you can see from the image below

Talk about a fine example, and funny, of guerrilla advertising.

Why can't they advertise their mac effectively rather than taunting microsoft .

They should advertise their products features not how its better than windows( this right is reserved for mac and windows users to discuss which is better)

This is pure Karma, you get what you give!! Have you forgotten that MS had tried the same rotten tactics 2 year back?

Whatever, Mac sales will never equal a significant fraction of Windows sales (and I'm talking both Hardware and Software).

Like a very fundamental rule of mathematics, as long as existence holds true, Windows (and the PC) will always be ahead (by far) of Macs, in terms of sales, userbase, customizability, power and value for price, period.

But that shouldn't really bother Mac Fanboys, should it? They have every right to be happy with their rubbish aspirational ornament, with a one buttoned mouse and a sleek looking system. Aaaaaah, if only the hardware wasn't so crappy. 9500GT and HD4850? Lol.
