I found huge huge improvement for HD4770 in win7 when I installed catalyst 9.5.

Am able to play crysis at 23+ fps with 1440x900 resolution and everything set to "very high" and 4x AA.

^pcie 1.0 or 2.0 wont matter...desiibond gets better perf cus he has 4gb of 800mhz ram and u have only 2gb of 667mhz...and crysis is a very very memory dependent game....2 to 4gb might make a difference of more than 5 upto 15fps in some cases...with 4 gb of ram you can even beat desiibonds perf as you have a Q6600..

PS: new nvidia drivers claim a 20% improvement in crysis with AA enabled and boy it delivered...before i used to average 36.2fps at 1680x1050...now i get 42-45fps....at 16xAA !! :0

^^But this:

4GB Kingston DDR2 800MHz(2x2GB)
You'll get them at about Rs. 2000 only.

CHuck ur old DDR2 667MHz good bye.(BTW, OC procc to about 2.8GHz, you'll see better fps, as CRYSIS is heavy on CPU and GPU too)

Forget about Kingston.
get Corsair or OCZ 2x2Gb DDR2 RAM.

also, increase your HD4770's memory and GPU frequencies by 50MHz.

also, in CCC's overdrive section, before gaming, set fan speed to manual and set it to 60%. Else fan speed will be locked at 40% and that increases heat in the cabinet.

both are good but check this one:

A tiny review on Zebronics Rage:
http://www.glacialpower.com/awards/pdf/GP_review.pdf

CM Elite 334 + addition 120mm front fan should also be a good choice. I think CM690 has a 4.5k price tag. But this one has huge room for cooling.comes with
Front :120 mm Blue LED fan x 1, 1200 rpm, 21 dBA,
Rear : 120 mm standard fan, 1200 rpm, 21 dBA
Left: 120mm fan

and you can add another four fans:
Top : 120 or 140 mm fan x 2 (optional),
Bottom : 120 mm fan x 1 (optional),
Left: 120mm fan - up to 140mm fans

Dudes, I just found out the real motive behind the Catalyst 9.5 driver. It was to improve the CrossfireX performance.

Now we all know that 2X HD4890 is faster than GTX 295. Also, there are tip offs that HD4890 X2 is actually gonna be released. I think this DRIVER was just for that motive, to improve CFx performance better.

And we've also been seeing 2X HD4770. THe performance improvement is an amazing 130% high in some games(more than 2.4x).
