Intel Releases 45W Quad Core

Currently they have 25W mobile CPUs which have half their cache disabled, but a 45W CPU with 12MB L2 cache is AMAZING.

so what if its mobile ?
it will be later ported to desktops.
each time intel decides to bring energy efficient desktop CPUs they use existing mobile CPUs.

Right now Q9550 sells for ~280$.(95W TDP)

So they decide to reduce voltage and sell the same processor as Q9550S for ~350$(65W TDP)

Then when the price of Q9550S falls to below 280$, INTEL will again further reduce the voltage and maybe name is Q9550Sx for ~375$(45W TDP).
