Yep, looks very costly!
Why would anyone buy it for 31K if they can get a much much better laptop at that price or slightly more!

Still this price launch is in league with that of Dell.
All their products that they introduce are always on the higher side.It always takes them a year to set the price right to that of the competition.And usually by that time most people have already gone to the alternatives. Same thing happened with me.Unlike now earlier their laptops used to be costly and i went for Compaq.However they are now price similarly but the game is done for me.

Sorry if this would be a bump.
-- Why? This one looks promising IMO. 12.1" is a very welcome screen size and WXGA resolution too. It fills in a void in the market. Not all people find the ultra-small netbooks comfortable. This will effectively fill the void. Competetion to MacBook Air? For some, yes..
