Samsung Splits Into Two Divisions

In response to economic downturn

Just recently, Samsung announced that it will be undergoing a major internal operation that will effectively split the company into two divisions. In addition, a variety of key roles within the management structure will be changed once again.

I wonder how effective does this splitting business gets.
Is it that they segregate the unwanted less efficient people in other company ?
The most important unit the profit making ,stays with the mother company.

Samsung should pay attention to there CE Business more then mobile phone & computer as CE is a business which returns more money then I.T

Their main business is not CE, but IT components like chips,LCD and various parts of electronic equipments. and they are very strong in IT and memory business then CE.
