Talking AMD's Biggest Insult to Intel - Athlon 64 2000+ at 8 Watts
Guys, you HAVE to check this tomshardware review out. AMD underclocked an age old processor manufactured cheaply at 1GHz and it consumes 8W power and when paired with 780G, beats the crap out of Intel's long researched Atom platform paired with the energy inefficient 945GC chipset.

The funny part is, this is not even a REAL CPU, in the sense that AMD never featured it anywhere or had it in their roadmap. It was just a simple job of using a low grade athlon 64 LE core just to show off what they can do.

There is one more twist to the story. Recently, AMD said they don't intend to compete with Atom. They instead prefer to target lower end users than atom with Geode and higher end users with yukon and congo.
