no hindi display!

In my computer hindi language is not being displayed on any browser, neither is displayed in other programs even though i installed hindi language from windows XP cd. even downloading hindi installer of opera didn't help. can any one suggest a solution?

^^have u changed the langauge from control panel ? do so and reboot ur PC

Do you have any hindi fonts like Devnagri installed on your system??
