Creating ISOs with Nero (Helpless)

Hullo Guys,
I've been using Nero for long and have been unable to create ISO files with it.
So today I thought to put my query in the Forum.
I enabled the "Enable all Formats for Image Recorder" option but still it saves in only .NRG format.
How can I create images in other formats.
Help me.

I went through nero 6 & couldn't find it.
You can use magic iso maker to make ISOs : http://www.magiciso.com/

There are also other tools like winiso : http://www.winiso.com/

Yeah I know there are other tools and I've used them, but I wanna know whether such a good software can miss out on such a teeny-weeny thing.
Surely there must be some way to do so.

you can also use iso commandor to make iso images directly from the cd..

well bro..some times things are been missed Deleberately ...though ISO is a Standard but as Alcohol can open ISO files but it dumps the cd as .mdf ..same with CloneCD ..it dumps as .ccd files..simillerly..nero is pushing its .nrg format ......

The best soft to create ISO is Ultra ISO ..also WinISO is al so good...

nero cannot save it in iso format its missing

you can use ultraiso its best

who says nero cant save as ISO?
iam using nero 5, 5.5, 6.0, 6.0.6, 6.0.19, 6.6, all of them and i frequently creates ISO's with it

do a google for 'neroplugins'..
and u will find the answer.

no need 4 "neroplugins"...

My method uses Nero Express coz evry1 has it:

1. Buid yor CD layout as u want...
2. Press next
3. On the upper part of the window click on "current recorder" drop down...
4. Select "Image Recorder"
5. click "burn"
6. The familiar "Save As.." window appears
7. Select file type as nrg/iso as u need

U can make evn Bootable ISO this way... just select the right project type in the beginning.

Tested OK from v6 up...

R u sure it wont work with later versions of 5.x.x series
Anyway it's been some time v6 is around... I would suggest every1 2 move ahead in life & upgrade 2 enjoy the advantages...

No dear brothers, the Save as box shows only .nrg option. Thats what I meant by even enabling the option under advanced settings, it doesnt show up in the Save as box.

hey i am using nero 6 reloaded and i have this option of creating an ISO cd. ... posting the screenshot ... btw what the hell is this iso format and what is useful for ? somebody plz enlighten me.
