I've got one more query so askin' here instead of makin' another thread
I know we can merge 2 partitions but how, please tell me. My problem is that can I merge 2 partitions, one 20Gb and other 40GB into one, although both lie on different hard disks! If not then can it be done on the same Hard Disk and if it is done then any loss of data in the said partitions? Please tell me this very carefully and if possible deeply.

I don't think you can merge 2 partitions on 2 different HDDs. If they are on a single physical drive....dunno. sorry. google for it.
