Can't instal Real player alternative

i have prolem installing real player alternative.

It gives an error msg as follows


Error creating registry file:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\RealNetworks

RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5.
Access is denied.
Click Retry to try again,Ignore to proceed anyway, or Abort to cancel installation



Even if i ignore the first error message many other similar follow and i am not able to use the soft.


I am already on administrator type account so why is it still denying me access.
I even tried it in safe mode administrative account still couldn't install it

Can somebody help me??

Which OS you are using?

I encountered the same with K lite Codec Pack and had to go back to a
lower version of the software. After formatting the machine things
worked fine.

Well..pretty much depends on OS< even now software support comes for XP faster than VIsta.plz answer the question..Which OS?

Its Xp sp3

Delete the entire key using Regedit and try again.
