Spine Salary Software

Dear Friends,

We had purchased a Salary Software named Spine Payroll by paying a big amount.. it was working fine. after 6 month we had signed AMC for upcoming changes and support. We had faced poor quality of support from them so had not continued the AMC as it is for telephonic support + New changes.

suddenly this month we had found that, this software is stopped working. after checking found that they had putted some hidden condition through with after a gap of period you are not able to run the software.

after calling Spine Technology Pvt. Ltd., (Developer of this software) they are demanding almost 50%.

In conclusion we had found that, this software termed for License Usage . In name of AMC we must renew our Original Purchase Licenses either we tend to get support or or not go for support we must pay.

My question is that:
Any expert can suggest, what is the provision in Indian Law for Original Purchase of software and its licenses and renewal terms defined by this software company.
