Help around blocked torrent

hello, i recently shifted to a campus were they have blocked the torrents and i want to regain my freedom.

i have broadband connection
please help if anybody knows any trick to get around this

i have tried a software called "your freedom", which tunnels the traffic but it goes very slowly like 9 kb/s
PLEASE HELP

Use proxies (not in the class, but in the torrent client)

Trying to gain access into restricted areas I see. If the campus feels you should not be using torrents, then you shouldn't. The internet bandwidth belongs to the college and not to you. No hacking will be discussed here.
