Default audio editing software- comparison

Which of the following two audio editing applications is better?

1. Audacity
2. Free audio editor 2008

User's review please!
If there is any other FREEWARE other than these two and is better than these, please let me know.

Audacity for sure.
It's light and pretty easy to use.

Audacity, of course. I started with Nero Wave Editor and when audacity became popular, switched over to it, and found that almost all things were same, so liked it a lot

You have the audacity to say that Audacity is not good?
Jokes apart, it is the best "free" audio editing software.
Install the required plugins and it will work like a charm

I'm using Goldwave for years. I would recommend it.
