Default nero probs

hey
i am facing problems with Nero 6 ultra edition
whenever i burn any data to disc the newly burnt data shows up and the previous data does not show up.how to show that??
and when ever i burn anything firstly caching starts, then there is a speed test , then simulation starts and after that burning starts.
how to disable them as it didn't happened earlier.

And yes many item's don't show up in the add or remove program list and even ccleaner.
how to remove them

I think the session management is complete messed up in ur software. CDs support the multi-session burning but multi-burning support with DVD is another issue. It depends completely on the software and the hardware used. I heard that some people succeded in burning a DVD-R with multiple sessions, but I did not still able to do that.

And for the second problem, it is relatively easier to solve. You just need to open up NERO Burning ROM, then go to new compilation, and next go to the Burn tab. Here u will see two options with checkbox besides them and they are 'Determine Maximum Speed' and 'Simulation'. Uncheck both of them and u will never have those speed test and simulations again.

Use Nero Express for burning a data cd/dvd, when you get to the screen where you can select the burn speed, there's an option Allow files to be added later (multisession disc), check that.

So that your future cd/dvd's show the previous session's data in windows explorer after a new session is completed and before a new session(it will show in Nero Express). Regarding the previously burned discs, use isobuster to recover the data and burn on new discs.

In Nero 6, the default is Nero Burning Rom but its better to use Nero Express for all the burn tasks. Don't burn dvd's at speeds faster than 16x.

The older files disappear when you use different speeds to burn the sessions. (I haven't read about this anywhere but I have experienced it). Though this problem is not seen in Windows 98, you won't be able to see the file in Windows XP/Vista. You can use ISOBuster to view the files from earlier sessions.
