explorer restart problem, taskbar disappear

i have a problem. i am using a vista ultimate with sp1.

some time explorer crash and restart but taskbar does not reappear. computer window opens which shows all drives, etc. and task manager shows explorer.exe is runing. when i close the computer window, exploere.exe also disappears from task manager.

i have tried to restart explorer using task manager but still the same result. computer window open and taskbar still dont.

i have to log off or restart computer to get the taskbar back.

any help...........

to bring up the taskbar....it happens sometimes in xp too when the taskbar crashes, explorer.exe restarts but u dont see the taskbar....most of the times it is solved by pressing the windows key on the keyboard.
