Default paging problem


my system first showed technical page fault error.after that showed 0xC0000005
ascociated with winlogon.exe while working in xp.wats the problem

if the problem is due to rootkit help me remove it

Are you having a BSOD ? Try installing this patch from Microsoft : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...e-0707f2a0534b

You need to have a genuine copy of Windows XP to download this since the download page asks for validation.

All I can think of relating to winlogon is, get the latest windows updates. I cant think of any driver that can conflict...

I used to get this error message before. Then after I replaced the RAM everything went fine. So it could be a RAM fault.
