hey i am cocentrating on my final year project..this would be a web based application..but i want to know hoe to coonnect or import databas withweb application..plz give me detail solution....

What backend are you gonna use? asp/php have database support. Read your book(you should have one) for more details. You can learn the basics from http://www.w3schools.com/ and search google for lots of tuts "asp database" and "php database"

For the frontend, either generate html pages or have an application in case of asp to connect to the server.
