Default problem with command prompt

This is more than a problem of command prompt.

Nothing is working...When I type msconfig.exe i get file not found
When I type regedit.exe a explorer window opens and same is the case with cmd a explorer window cmd.com opens

The Taskmanager is also not opening.

Please help me with this...I am getting frustrated with these problems.

Your System is mostly affected with spy ware

Try doing this run

Put XP CD in machine

log in to safe mode

sfc /scannow

it will help to recover deleted or corrupted system files.

Later install spy ware to get rid of this problem

^^ First install anti-spyware & antivirus. Scan your system & then follow the steps mentioned above by Villain

This sfc /scannow is a total wastage of time. Tried several times without anything fruitful

Run SFC after removing virus as the newly created files can be accessed in case the virus is running in memory

Dude just download Avast & click as fast as you can & just dont click No

Avast gonna do the needful
Then run SFC /SCANNOW in CMD
Also scan with good antispyware to restore ur registry back
