Unhappy Help !!!Firefox under siege

when i login to windows firefox starts automatically....a webpage - http://update.windowssettings.org/2/update.php starts loading, at the first instance firefox blocked it but now the page loads completely & it has a link to a microsoft download centre.i tried to use the "report web forgery" feature in firefox's help & opened it in a new tab. as long as i am in a different tab..everything is fine but if i switch to the tab for reporting, fa pop-up message appears that offers to save & quit the currently viewing webpage (which also appears if one tries to forcefully close firefox)..after which i cannot open firefox as the pop-up message keeps on appearing. there r three options- save & quit, quit & cancel. if i press cancel nothing happens, i can only press save & quit or quit..if i press quit & restart firefox it starts fine but the report web forgery & report broken website links are greyed out but they reappear after some time. the moment i use the report web forgery option the problem reappears (even if it is the only single link i've opened in the browser).i actually never get to report anything as the popup to shutdown the browser remains on top.the link -http://update.windowssettings.org/2/update.php doesnot open after being closed once & only appears after a full system restart.i am using firefox 3.0.1 installed only yesterday..i have the google & yahoo toolbars, all in one sidebar, &save complete page as extension installed. i also set my homepage to display blank but the suspicious web page keeps appearing after each system restart.my os is windows xp sp3(again installed yesterday).
how do i get rid of this peculiar problem..??
