Unhappy Media files are screwed up in Winamp/WMP

Wtf, my previous post got locked just because i am on a pirated version of Windows, like maybe 99% of people in this forum.

Anyways, i found a solution to my Windows Genuine Advantage headaches.

But my Media files related one is not.So let me start from scratch-

Last week, i planned to upgrade my Hard Disk. My older hard disk had 2 partitions, C and D. The D drive contained all my songs and videos.

When i asked the technicians to upgrade my PC,i also asked them to transfer ALL the contents of D drive of my old HDD to the new one.

So now i have this problem. All of those songs and videos are causing me problem

In WINAMP- Songs playback is sketchy and erratic. It seems as if the sound files are corrupted. Some music files are barely audible. HOWEVER, file formats with .m4a extensions still work great. Video playback, however, is smooth

In Windows Media Player- Songs and Videos play well for about 5-6 seconds, and then the Windows Media Player crashes and a browser window opens leading me to this site- http://58.65.234.163/e/adsr4.php
However, if i stretch the seek-bar to 10-12 seconds and later, the remaining songs play smoothly. However, the next tracks need the same treatment, else the player crashes and the weblink opens.

In VLC/Media Player classic- Works smoothly.

I use AVG Professional, Ad-Aware, SpyBot S&D. My Windows Firewall is the Windows XP bundled. I use Malwarebyte's Anti--Malware for malware detection.
My PC is thorougly scanned and no signs of anything close to malicious. I have had USB Pen Drive related trojan attacks few months back in my older Hard Disk, but other then that, my PC has always remained clean.

One thing worth mentoning. After the "transfer" of D drive from my old hard disk, i managed to copy some songs from CDs and internet to my PC. These media files however are running smoothly. Apparently all my old media files are screwedup, while the new ones (ones acquired after Hard Disk upgrade) are nice.
Another thing bugging me is that why are only WinAMP and WindowsMedia Player effected?
