my AVG 8.0 tells that C:\WINDOWS\wt\updater\wcmdmgr.exe contains Adware Generic.FHN
i searched for info abt this on www.processlibrary.com and found that this was safe.
is it really safe?

Do you have a game named Wild Tangent installed in your PC ? If yes, then the file is definitely from that game and is said to download some malicious spywares from the game maker's website. Best option is to uninstall the game.

i have done some research and have found out that wild tangent isnt really spyware but just collects system configuration information. still, i am going to uninstall it.

^^^ uninstalling that software sounds safe to me. Check if that file in question is deleted properly after the uninstallation.

Also Clean all the registry entries associated with it after uninstallation
