I know about inksaver software butis there any other software available for the same purpose |

go to control panel->printers and faxes->right click on your printer->properties
There is a button next to print test page (I do not recall), click that- it will open the printer driver options for you from which you should be able to control the ink used by moving to economy mode

Usually all printer drivers have a quality setting. If it doesn't then I do not know of any other solution
