I have many homemade movies on my computer.
I want to extract/capture images from them.
How can I do so?
The software that came with the Sony handycam does not have any provision for doing so.

u can use CTRL + i in windows media player
vlc has a option to capture images
also u can import ur movies in windows movie maker and capture the image
I want to capture pics by pausing & selecting a frame, not by simply pausing and taking a screen shot (no offense meant ).
will Windows movie maker allow me that?

Re: Extract/capture images from video
Most video players can capture screens (not snapshot them).... GOM Player/ KM Player.. both my favs... too... do it... great. Check out their HELP/MANUALS... b4 askin out here.
Check out in the Video options... normally ufind the capturing settings there. Shortcuts too will b available.
