Abt Vista and XP dual booting

I hav vista loaded on my laptop and i installed xp on it.now vista is not booting. So i use Easy BCD and vista boot pro to write MBR.
Now vista is booting and XP didn't.

Easy BCD shows to reinstall the legacy boot(uninstall vista boot) and vista boot(uninstall XP boot).I tried reinstall the legacy boot but when i choose Windows XP from boot menu it shows boot corrupt.

Can Any one tell what is exact method?
What exactly to do.write XP entry to vista bootloader or install the legacy bootloader?

specify the drive letter in which xp & vista is installed.

on c: vista and on d: XP.

may be u hv enabled data compression on any partition. i hv also faced that problem the only solution is uncompress all the drives.

you don't need both easybcd and vistabootpro.
use easybcd after xp boots and vista is not booting.
else use vistabootpro when vista boots.try tweaking with the settings.ull get it.
