What error do you get when you try to delete / move it ..??? Try disabling sharing of the folder first .. ?

I have shared and unshared the folder so many times and tried in safe mode also but nothing worked.
It says
"Cannot delete folder: Access Denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected
and that the file is not currently in use."

Thumbs up Re: Folder locked

heres what u do..

1. Goto folder options, under View->Advance Settings the last option would be "Use Simple File Sharing" .. uncheck this box and apply the changes.

2. Right Click on the folder and select Properties->Security.

3. Goto Advance->Owner and select your account from the list, check the box on the bottom where it says "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects"

4. Apply the changes and hit OK.

5. Now once again right Click on the folder and select Properties->Security.
Under "Group or usernames" select your Account.
Under "Permission for ____" check all the boxes under Allow.

6. Apply the changes and hit OK.

that should do it
