Arrow All Opera queries/problems

Post all the "Opera browser" related problems here.

1st me
- i prefer oper 9.27 over opera 9.51
why?----
-well, after clearing the cache, it takes lot of time for opera to load a page from "speed dial"
-the cache system has been overhauled in opera 9.51.
now they've changed the "file extension" of all the "cache" files, why?
it doesnt speed up the browsing exp. by much
-opera 9.51 is a little bit resource hungry
- takes lot of time to "close" (if opera reaches more than 150MB in task mangr., it takes atleast 20+ seconds to close)

[last two pts. as experienced in a laptop with 1.5GHz proc. & 256MB RAM]

I am not experiencing most the problems you stated here. I am using opera 9.52 build 10100 beta. It closes fine with 26 tabs opened and the new interface is rocking too. Both in Vista and Arch, opera is smooth in both opening and closing.

You are right about the browsing experience though, it is not much faster than the previous version as FF3 is over FF2. I think die hard Opera fans here will add some more info. I am a die hard FF fan.

FF2 had room to improve the loading speed.
Opera was already loading fast in 9.2x series. Not much scope , but they say v10 will be faster.

Hope it lives to the codename(Peregrine falcons are the fastest birds on record).
