hey there any one can tell that if .exe extension can be opened in ubuntu 7.10

^.exe is for windows. Linux is completely a different Operating system compared to windows. so ,read this :

Yeah .exe will work only in WINDOWS not in linux.

Depends on the application. You can use Wine (Windows Emulator) and run some exe apps on linux. But their performance will never be like what you will get on windows....

Yeah however in some cases the performance is more better than windows but yes this is a rare case and happens with a few applications only.
