how to prevent opera from acting as a torrent client?

it's a feature but it's really annoying since i already use utorrent to download. how can i prevent opera from starting the download and instead download only the .torrent file?

Type about:config in Address bar

CLick on Bittorrent
Then Uncheck The Enable Box

Or, go to Tools->Preferences, go to Advanced tab, select Downloads in left side...

Here, uncheck "Hide file types..." and get to the torrent entry (you can sort by extension and find it easily)... Double click and change the option as you desire...
