Default Rootkit and Trojan that I can't get rid off!

Hey all!
I'm running a Windows XP SP2 on my computer, supported by Avast! Free HOME edition antivirus (v4.8).
The last time that I opened my drives, Avast! gave me a message that it had found the following malware:

Name: <Drive Letter>:\njibyekk.com
Virus: Win32: Trojan-gen {Other}

Ever since, whenever I double-click a drive, I am only getting the "Open With" window, asking me which program I wish to open my drives with. Another problem is that, I am never able to set the options to view all the hidden files and folders. I check the options, press Apply, then press Ok. But none of the files are showing, and when I check the options again. none of the files are showing.

Is there any possible way to solve this problem without resolving to have to buy software? As in using ONLY open-source? Can someone please help me asap? I will be very very grateful.

First edit ur registry

Go to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL \
CheckedValue

reset it back to 1 from 2. ( to do that right click CheckedValue>modify>value data >)

now restart the computer and see if hidden file is showing up,if yes ,look for an hidden named "autorun.inf" in the root of every partition and delete the file.And then restart the computer.

I am currently giving Paid Versions of A-Squared Anti-Malware, FREE and Legally. This one is one of the finer anti-trojans I know of ! See it if interests you.
