U must be having a lot of files in My Documents and Program Files.

And check ur Temp folder.
Cuz many setup's make their copy their too.
Try deleting some of them.

And your Windows Page file occupies around 1GB.(adjustable)

Maybe your Page File is over-sized. How much RAM do you have ? Try moving the PF to another partition and see if you get the space back.

If you also have some doubt about your c Drive space, then you can manually check what file or folder have taken more space.
Just goto folder options then to view tab
then in that choose the show hidden file and folders options.
Also check two other options:
1. Hide extensions for known file types
2. Hide protected os system files

Now goto your c drive and check what folder or file taken big space.

do a disk cleanup on C
and go to c:/docs and setting/user/temp
and c:/docs and setings/user/local setings/temp
clean the contents of both these directories and move page file location under system properties/performance/virtual memory.

dear hidayat,,, i could not get what is ur problem...???!!??!?!?!?!

firstly in a partition of 20gb, in which 6 gb are used.. then gow come u r getting 15gb free space..?????

moreover, if u r bothered about the fluctuating C drive space, lemme tell u.. With accordance to C Drive.. What u see IS NOT what YOU GET..
[b] the C Drive is system drive (acc to u) and in C drive u can see many hidden files folders...
some files which accompany extra spaces are
pagefile
hiberfil (if u have hibernation activated)
system volume information (name says it all)
AND most importantly..
if u use NERO, it uses C drive for temporary files (making image of a cd, copying dvd/cd tasks, etc.)... so the C Drive size fluctuates...

DONT WORRY IT IS NORMAL,,...
