Digit Archive Update Problem

Hi
I have installed Digit Archieve from the CD, but whenever I am trying to update it it hangs and show the following error.

"Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immidiately.
The underlying connection was closed. The connection was closed unexpectedly."

Now if I click on continue nothing happens, and it hangs, so I need to quit. There is a button called details, when I click on that I got the folowing message:

I have uninstall and reinstall the Archive from different month's cds, but it doesnot help.

So, please tell me how can I overcome this error.

Erm, I dont buy Digit so I cant really debug the provided app. It is not a problem in the installer, as I see other parts of the app start working. Looking at the exceptions list, either you arent connected to net, or there is a firewall blocking access. Those are two things you can check - connect to net, and add it to the exceptions list of your firewall.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I have already added it to my firewall exception list, I think it has some problem with the software itself.

I think they have given up on the archive. The last update to the beta was in June or July 2006. Since then the program code has not been updated!

We are even now installling a software whose version is "2006, beta" !!
zonealarm and net speed is not the problem as I feel.

I am having the same problem, the digit archive software has stopped updating some 4 months back. now whenever I update it gives me an error exactly as stated by 'bhutbhut'.

It was a nice software . Hope digit will come back with some solution to it.
