From the last two days I am facing different type of problem. i.e when I am downloading a file from the internet using ie explorer or firefox, the file saving window appears but the file name column automatically fills with the letter "j".
not one letter, it is like we are pressing that key continuously. i.e "jjjjjjjjjjjjjjj". But when we hit the backspace key that is stopped

what is this prblm ? is it any bugs or viruses ?

lastly as u are suspecting any malware in ur system.. i would suggest post a HijackThis LOG in this thread, we will scrutinize and let u know..

make sure ur 'j' letter key is properly working .. i mean going in and out... i think it is getting sticked from inside... try to clean ur keyboard a bit... see if the problem gets rectified.

May be virus/malware problem.
U are saying this problem is occurred only when the file saving window appears.
Tell us if any other time this type of problem occurred!
Update your antivirus and antispywares and do a through scan.

Hi guys, pleas tell me how to recover a system using norton ghost ?

am installed NortonGhost 2003 and backup my all programs and OS. But unfortunately windows is not booting up. so what can i do ?

Thankz for ur reply. I am asking you how to restore a backup file (created with norton gost) to a non working system ?
That is, I am backup all the data in my C:\ and D:\ drives. C:\ contains my OS i.e XP and D:\ contains my other programs. my problem is that windows is not booting due to some virus crash. Is any way to restore my system to that working mode.
