Default Anti Virus

I want to know which Anti virus is better Kaspersky Internet Security 9 OR AVG Internet Security 8? Will my PC be slow if I install both the softwares. Coz I've found out it will be? My configuration is 1 GB DDR2 RAM 667 mhz, 3.00 GHZ Intel processor on ECS MB.Shall I add another 1 GB RAM?

And another thing AVG detected a Trojan virus in one file but KIS didn't in the same? Does that mean the file is infected or Clean?

well stellar..
its not advisable to install 2 av.
secndly.. no av is perfect or detection rate is 100%.
thirdly u said that one av recognized trojan as virus other didnt..
this may be because of old virus database,,
update KIS virus database and scan the same file..

installing 2 AVs just doesnt make sense. since both of them offer on access protection, not only will it slow down your pc but it is also possible that the two may clash with each other. like sude mentioned, update you KIS database.

choosing between one of the two AVs is purely your choice. I would recommend KIS even though it is heavier on system resources. anyway ur system can handle it easily.
