destop setting tab button is not showing

Hi,
Suddenly I 've some problems in my pc,when we right click and go in property then destop setting tab button is not showing in this list. No virus detect by norton antivirus 9. Previously it shows
Pl tell me how to do this. I m using window xp proff.

Click Start->Run and type 'gpedit.msc' (without quotes) then hit enter. Navigate to User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Control Panel->Display and in the right pane, look for a value named 'Hide desktop tab'. Dbl-click it to open its properties and click on the 'Disabled' radio button. Click OK to close the box and then exit.

You said "Desktop Setting" tab is missing. Is it "Desktop" tab or "Setting" tab? Anyway you can enable any disabled tab using registry as well. Pls go through steps given in following tutorial:
