Hi.........

I have a problem in IE , when ever i type www.gmail.com..... i get following error "Internet Explorer cannont open internet site ..http:\\mail.google.com\mail\.............operati on aborted

Are other sites working fine? If yes, try for different browser or in run dialog box enter
ipconfig /flushdns

Yes other sites are working fine ....only with gmail ?

Clear cache and remove all the cookies and then try.

Tools -> Delete Browsing History -> Delete All -> yes

Hope that will solve the issue. Post back here if the problem continues.
