AVG 8.0 Free Antivirus Query

Friends,

I wanna ask you that is AVG 8.0 Free Antivirus is having update frequency of many days?

I am asking this because even I click on Update Now option of AVG after 4-5 Days, it says that No New Update?

When I was using AVG 7.5 it was getting daily Priority and Recommende Updates, but now it is just saying No New Updates a lot of time.

Does AVG 8.0 automatically update itself without user consent?
