pc always hangs

hello frnd please help me its urgent my pc gets hanged always after 15 -20 min, i had formated my pc but problem didnt solved yet, i have scan my pc with latest update of avg 8 version, no virus dected yet. i month ago i installed new hardrive of 250 gb. i m using xp professional with 256+512 gb of ram.

pleae repl me i have just installed 4 application only.

remove 256 stick & defrag hdd partitions.
use Ccleaner as well, & remove unwanted windows applications.

best option run Tuneup Utilities 2008.

well i think its not any software prob... prob might be with Hardware...
2 possibilities..

1. check whether ur processor is overheating.
to check this (u dont have to touch it) open the side of ur cabinet and put an table fan to ensure proper ventilation.....

2. ur RAM's are malfunctioning...
first put one RAM.. and work for sometime... if systems reboots ... take out that RAM and insert the other RAM... Restart and work for sometime... if problem solves then it means that the other RAM was faulty..ok
