direct x10 on xp. please post your suggestions about this.

many people over the net says that it worked for them is it true??

DX10 sucks. Totally incompatible with several games and software, including Nero, and Crysis. Bloody pain to uninstall, I tried so many stuff but couldnt uninstall and reinstall 9.0c, as there is no force reinstall for DX. Ended up reinstalling windows...

Due to slow Internet connection I didn't upgrade to DX 10 and was to update to DX 10, but I read ur post and saved.

according to a link given on tut section i tried to play Bioshock on xp.
and i have not recieve any of the problem as he says.

^^ Really? Install DX10 and run Nero, it fails on installation itself. Says you need to install directx 9.0c to proceed.

And Crysis lags SO BADLY, and it didnt on 9.0c.

@Mr. Dheeraj the major difference between 9 and 10 is shader model 4.
go and search on google and first increase your knowledge.

How you can say that i will never give him answer. @quanchi i am feeling very sad by its badly hearted Comments. The site given in tut section is best.But it is sure you must have Gforce8 series card.I have 8400 gs and it works for me.He dont know 9 & 10.
Also keep in mind this dx 10 is not my fathers product and i am not emphasizing any one to install it.
i install it on my system just for testing purpose. because i also have vista installed in other drive.
I know he will going for next comment on me.
it is his old habit.
this directx intracts with internal files of os.
so it is risky ofcourse.
